Lois Lane Watch for the Week of October 12th

Every Wednesday, I’ll be doing a post outlining where you can expect to find Lois throughout the week! Why Wednesday? So that you’ll know which comic books to pick up at the shop. If I miss anything – cameos in other comics, interviews with actresses or writers, television appearances, etc. – please let me know by leaving the information in the loislaneverse ask box.

Comics/Print Media

Written by SCOTT LOBDELL; Art by RB SILVA and ROB LEAN; Cover by ERIC CANETE*

Project N.O.W.H.E.R.E. has put a lot of effort into creating their Superboy, and they intend to make sure he performs to their standards. And what better opportunity for him to demonstrate his raw power than to throw him into an alien prison riot? Good luck, Superboy… you’re going to need it!

*Given her appearance in Superboy #1, I’m hoping to see more of her in the title, but I don’t know for sure yet.

Written by GREG RUCKA, JAMES ROBINSON and ERIC TRAUTMANN; Art by PERE PEREZ and BIT • Cover by ALEX GARNER**

Get ready for the first-ever Superboy/Kid Flash race! Bart Allen may have the speed, but Conner Kent has the power – who will win?! Meanwhile, a dangerous threat is nipping at their heels, one that may mean the end for Superboy, Kid Flash and all of Smallville!

*Jeff Lemire said at San Diego Comic Con 2010 that Lois would be covering the Superboy/Kid Flash race. Whether that’s still true, we can’t say for sure.

Other Items of Note

  • As an adjunct to the CBR article about the DC Nation Panel that we posted about a few days ago: I know some folks found the wording of the CBR article a bit confusing, so just to clear it up, yes, the room did actually erupt in cheers at the idea of a Lois Lane ongoing. It sounds like when someone asked a question about a Lois Series, blogger Erica McGillivray cheered extremely loudly, which intrigued Harras and lead to him asking the crowd what they thought. More cheers followed. I’m still smiling over that!
